Gyakie has capped off a fantastic year that has seen her soar to the top of Ghana’s streaming charts with her own concert at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.
The evening featured numerous of her contemporaries, as well as her own father, highlife star Nana Acheampong, whose performance moved her daughter to tears as the two shared the stage.
Since her song, Forever, became an international hit, Gyakie has experienced enormous success. She was a part of the BET Africa Soul Cypher in 2021.
