The conversation on the woes of the Ghana movie industry is still ongoing. Many industry players have put the blame squarely on the doorstep of the government for not investing in the industry. Others have blamed technology and digitization and how producers were not able to move with the times.
But actress, producer and director Yvonne Nelson says the problem is her colleagues.
The actress in a series of tweets have blamed her colleagues in the industry for the woes of the Ghana movies space.
Yvonne whiles she called her colleagues unserious, blamed them for not showing commitment and dedication when called upon to perform a role in a movie.
She tweeted: “Honestly! I’m tired! Our people aren’t serious! #shame #movieindustry #crew,” the actress wrote in a post dated November 28, 2021.
