Lawyer Tweneboah Kodua has hinted, that a DNA test allegedly done by ex-husband of gospel singer Joyce Blessing, Dave Joy, may have been without her consent.
The lawyer was trying to answer a question posed to him by Peace FM Entertainment Review host, Akwasi Aboagye on information circulating that Dave Joy has done DNA tests on his children
“Our investigations show that the children were in the custody of the lady [Joyce Blessing]. The man [Dave Joy] went for them saying they were going shopping. That was when the sample of the children was taken for the test. So, per what we know, the lady never knew about the test. More or less, her consent was never sought”, Kwasi Aboagye said in his intro to the conversation with Lawyer Kodua
In response, Lawyer Kodua said it was not proper for one party to do a test without the other person’s consent, as such a behavior creates doubts. He said unless it is a court order, it is important for both parties to agree on a DNA test before it is done.
