Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, says even though the approach taken by Shatta Wale on how Nigerians do not reciprocate the love they receive from their Ghanaian counterparts, the issues he raised needs critical attention.
Shatta Wale it would be recalled, took a swipe at Nigerian artistes, for not showing the same love and appreciation to Ghanaians as is shown them when they come to Ghana.
His rants on social media started numerous debates among Ghanaians and Nigerians, and some artistes including Flavour, Trigmatic, among others.
The latest to add his thoughts to the ongoing conversation is Stonebwoy.
In a lengthy statement shared on his social media, Stonebwoy acknowledged even though the approach used by Shatta Wale may not be right, the issues he raised needs critical attention.
“My brother Shatta Wale’s approach may be wrong but the topic of our brother nation Nigeria not reciprocating the love and support it receives particularly from Ghana is valid and deserves critical attention, ” parts of the statement read.
